Leading pinball hustler, Eastern seaboard. Once got Hand of the King playing with one arm tied to a concrete block. Plays pinball like Spassky plays chess. Says: "A smart pinball player can beat a strong pinball player 5 games out of 7."

Picked it up, and by goodness it works so well. The feeling I got of sending a melee dash attack over a cliff, taking out an unsuspecting foe, and then being able to run behind cover before taking enemy machine gun fire felt so good. Thanks for talking about it!

I will say I am flattered at the support for the folks affected, and it is made clear that discrimination and hate will not be tolerated by the community in competitive pinball. Trans and queer rights are human rights, and the competitive pinball community is making sure that we are not isolated.

I do hope they realize the impacts and damage that this behavior has done may even be worse than what they faced with the decision on sanctioning, and I implore them to work on that for the future. 6/7

Both the folks who disagree who wish to stay for the love of competitive pinball, and the folks who agreed in good faith that wish to see the IFPA to grow from this situation. 4/?

The IFPA has decided to take full accountability for the situation, but they will also need to be held accountable to make changes such that something like this never happens again - and we will need people around for that. 3/?

I hope that the next steps of the IFPA, which I hope were mentioned in the formal letter from the Women's Advisory Board, will be towards regaining the community's credibility in being a force that is able to make competitive pinball safe and equitable for all. 2/?
