We don't have a POTUS in the White House now. What we have is a FFOTUS (First Felon of the United States).

IMO, the ultimate outcome of Trump 2.0 will depend on wch feature of it predominates: malevolence or incompetence. The malevolence of Trump's DOJ is unbounded, but it's ability to do stuff is hamstrung by the fact that it's increasingly staffed by parking garage lawyers & women Trump thinks are hot.

This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it.

What’s always difficult when trying to analyze him is that he’s both an idiot and a fascist. In other words, he has ZERO understanding of the Constitution, and he genuinely wants the power to take over all elections. Scary shit.👇

Why the fuck did no other media member in the room stand up for @kaitlancollins.bsky.social? This has been going on forever. Trump, the coward, is constantly throwing ugly sexist insults at female reporters. When the fuck will White House media members defend their female colleagues?

TRUMP: You are so bad. You are the worst report. No wonder CNN has no ratings. She's a young woman. I don't think I've ever seen you smile. They should be ashamed of you.

Hitler made Göring president of the Reichstag, so at least there is some precedent for this
I’m not the first to observe this, but: Mike Johnson functions as a staffer to Donald Trump, not as a speaker of the House. He has made this august, important role teeny-tiny. He is smaller than Stephen Miller and the like. It would be pitiable if it weren’t so consequential.

If people are finding out as a late as now how Trumpism is wannabe fascism, they should be accepted in a big pro-democracy, pro-pluralism, pro-equality tent. Their belated dissent is welcome. Democracy is in danger and this is not the time for the usual holier-than-thou approach!

I strongly disagree with my friend Steve here. I think a Federal Bureau of Prisons facility—the most modern and secure one, because our president deserves the best—should be named after Trump.

If elected to Congress, I pledge to do my best to enact this into law.

It happened so fast it made everyone's head spin in the legal profession—and no doubt caused the panic that led other firms to capitulate.

This hand-wringing is pathetic. It makes me pessimistic about the role of the judiciary in the 2026 elections when the trump thugs will be oppressing voters.
