Good news but as I'm resolutely a glass half full person I'm going to say the Republicans on the court decided this case wasn't a good enough vehicle for reversing same sex marriage.
I'm sure there are "better" (in their view) cases on their way to them & they absolutely *will* overturn Obergefell

After an electric postseason including a historic World Series, this is just stepping on a rake for MLB.
But given the headlong rush to not only allow betting for all sports, but to heavily market it and make it easier to access, this was the inevitable result.

Breaking news per Jeff Passan: “Cleveland Guardians pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz have been indicted by prosecutors in Brooklyn on a host of charges related to a scheme to rig bets on pitches thrown in MLB games. Ortiz was arrested in Boston earlier today. Clase is not currently in custody”

Am I right in thinking that any Senate deal would then require the house to be brought into session to approve?
Because I don't see how squeaker Johnson is going to allow that if it potentially means a vote on the Epstein files. Unless he's just going to not swear in the new AZ rep
