Turns out: it’s not Obama coming to get your guns. Or Hillary. Or Biden. It’s your old buddy Trump.

Tom Homan going to Minneapolis? Must be a bag of cash waiting for him there.

It’s amazing that I can still be shocked by these people.
Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

This is a message for all the supporters of the murderous Trump regime who made this madness possible. Your shame will mark you forever.

Our President is insane. You know that, right?

Well, I guess now that cheater Carlos Beltrán has been allowed into the Baseball Hall of Fame, they may as well go ahead and let in Pete Rose, Barry Bonds and all the other scoundrels. It is, after all, the age of Trump.

Can this be true? The College Football Championship game is only on ESPN cable and not on regular network TV? What a travesty!

Was it deliberate that the Washington Post did not include Nazi Joseph Goebbels in its story today about people who were gifted a Nobel Prize by the winner? I suspect it was deliberate because Jeff Bezos’ watered down Post frequently goes out of its way to protect Trump.

Would Jeff Bezos’ watered down version of The Washington Post publish The Pentagon Papers? Not a chance.

When Stephen Colbert is finally gone, there will be no reason at all to tune in CBS ever again.

It is clear to me that the Nobel folks should take greater care in the awarding of future Peace prizes.

Joe Scarborough’s obsession with the poll numbers on ICE seems like he’s briefing Trump to get him to fire Kristi Noem and ‘Stephen Miller and blame them for this disaster instead of accepting responsibility himself.

Flipping through today’s Washington Post, I can’t tell if the photos of protests are from Minnesota or Iran.
January 14, 2026 at 11:26 AM
That’s some serious bullshit: Trump accusing Fed Chair Powell of misdeeds in a building renovation after Trump tore down the East Wing of the White House on a whim. Serious bullshit.

Stop using the phrase “boots on the ground.” It avoids the painful reality that we are talking about flesh and blood soldiers, some of whose lives will end on the ground. If only it were just boots…

News media - Trump says he spoke to oil company executives (instead of Congress) before invading Venezuela. Find out who and what was said. Inquiring minds want to know.
January 5, 2026 at 12:41 PM
Blood for oil. Again.
January 3, 2026 at 7:58 PM
Instead of the news about Venezuela this weekend, I suggest you watch “Wag The Dog,” the 1997 film about a President starting a war to distract attention from a sex scandal involving an underage girl.
January 3, 2026 at 1:41 PM
Wow! Nothing in the New Year’s Day edition of The Washington Post about Jack Smith’s revelations to Congress about the criminality of Donald Trump.

America's richest 10% now hold 60% of the nation's wealth.

The bottom half of America? It holds just 6%.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive.

I’m starting to think Donald Trump is a liar.

Donald Trump never had to do an Infrastructure Week because Joe Biden did it, and you see the construction work going on everywhere. But does Joe get any credit for it? No. But he didn’t do it for the credit. He did it for the good of the country, like Presidents should.
