House Republicans just announced that they're cancelling votes next week. They're not even pretending to be interested in ending the health care crisis and government shutdown they created!

Republicans’ Energy and Water bill would result in higher utility costs and clean-energy job losses across Minnesota. Read my op-Ed:
Betty McCollum: Republican bill on energy and water works against Minnesota interests
"I will fight to defend these critical investments because Minnesotans deserve better," U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum writes.

Senator Tillis had the audacity to tell the truth about the devastating cuts to Medicaid and rural hospitals so they threatened a primary against him. This is the party of Trump. And mark my words - rubber stamping this bill will bring them down.

If House Republicans are truly concerned about cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, they have an opportunity to do something about it. They can join me and my Democratic colleagues by forcing a vote to make these cuts dead on arrival in the House. All it would take is four Republicans.
House Democrats are launching a longshot procedural move to prevent safety net cuts
The discharge petition is meant to pressure Republicans as they assemble their party-line megabill.

Medicaid keeps Minnesota's families safe, healthy, and financially secure — but Republicans are trying to make the largest cut to Medicaid in American history to pass massive tax cuts for billionaires. I'll always fight against Republican efforts to take away Minnesotans' healthcare.
