Having been an electric vehicle owner for over a year and a half now, I’m starting to realize how spoiled I’ve become.
Had to get a rental and was given a ICE Jeep. Going back seems awful, from the vibrations of the engine, the noise, the anemic acceleration, it’s an overall inferior experience.

I Actually feel like I got the béchamel really creamy. Taking your time and incorporating the milk over really low heat seems to make the difference.

Managed to get through my first Christmas without my dad. It was an emotional night to be sure. But he always had his own fun at the end of the evening after everyone had opened their gifts. He always made a game of it. There were usually two envelopes and you had to pick one.

This time of year means whiskey gift sets. My go-to are the boxes with rocks glasses. This one from Maker’s Mark is a nice addition to my collection. The etched surface is well done, with my only criticism being the light bottom. Always appreciate having a hefty bottom in hand. #whiskey #bourbon
