I don’t know what kind of contribution Jared McCain is ultimately going to make to #OKC, but it’s probably not going to be much with the hospital version of this team.

My dad points out a great detail in “The Godfather”: while planning to assassinate two men, including a police officer, Tessio finds it worth noting that the restaurant where the murders are to take place has good food.

He could do all the golfing, stealing, criming, all the looting of the public fisc — he could do all this and not do the racism.

He could literally choose to be more popular.

But he doesn’t.

@jamellebouie.net’s conclusion is unavoidable.

Thing I learned in review of a new Lincoln tome.

"By 1853, seven years before the presidential election and five years before the Lincoln-Douglas debates, the town of Lincoln, Illinois, was christened in his honor. Lincoln had emerged as the most prominent Whig in the state."

Do not tell Trump.

So, will someone follow up with Leavitt on whether the outrage is real?
The White House says that an unidentified staffer was responsible for posting a racist video of the Obamas—yet the video remained on President Trump’s Truth Social account for 12 hours, Hana Kiros writes. theatln.tc/aKqRmy40

The Mick Jagger of political pundits, still kicking ass in his 80s.
"Shrill but useful — useful because she is so shrill — Kristi Noem has elicited from a federal judge a valuable 83-page tutorial."

I had not noticed the National Security Strategy document said Iran’s nuclear program was “significantly degraded,” which, according to my English, is not the same as “totally obliterated.”

I look at the Phillies roster and … don’t want to think about this anymore.
Tyler Shough and Jalen Hurts are the only registered Democrats in the NFL, I just know it.

Swing and a drive.

Love that guy.
It's hard to imagine a world with no Buck in the booth.

A legend. A guy everyone in every ballpark was happy to see. And an analyst who always told us something we didn't know during every game.

Congrats on a remarkable baseball life, Buck. What a career.
“This is what I enjoy. Talking to the players on the field. My goal as a broadcaster is to bring something to the broadcast every night that nobody knew.”

When Tim Scott says it’s “the most racist thing he’s ever seen out this White House,” he’s implying there’s been a lot of competition.

“Chill out, it’s just a Lion King parody in which the Obamas were incidentally chosen to be the apes” is … one way of clearing it up.
Karoline Leavitt will clear it all up.
The New York Times has finally covered the Trump video of Obama as an ape — and they are still providing cover for him. Fuck the Times.

Countdown to Mike “I haven’t seen that” Johnson.
If every Republican elected official does not condemn the truth social post of Trump they should be seen as likewise racist sacks of shit and will be shunned in history.
