With the noises he’s making about brown people and “low propensity” voters who didn’t turn out last week, I shudder to think of the campaign he’s mentally preparing to run in 2028. It’s going to be Springfield on Steroids.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

I’ve got one kid in college, another in high school, just getting into visits. I never thought I’d have to factor “Is this place a willing cog in Trump’s authoritarian machine?” into the search.
I thought the earlier news from A&M was bad, but this is incredibly bleak. It’s close to the point of not having a functional university.
Message to all faculty: your expertise is no longer trusted or valued at this so-called “university.”

From the people who like to emphasize biological as well as moral absolutes … sure, there is a biological difference between a prepubescent child and pubescent child.

They are all minor children.

What are we doing here?

Consider the lather Republicans worked themselves into because Hunter braggadociosly referred to his dad as the “Big Guy.”

Amazing how people are taking this GOP counter and just waving off this email.

Maybe Epstein meant someone else. Why would he lie to his accomplice in a private email?

It should at least pique some interest!

Republican elites are supposed to know this. But then they’re accused of being part of the decadent globalist uniparty.
Also most voters have just never thought remotely seriously about policy. “Should we get rid of illegal immigrants? Well, of course; they’re illegal!” There’s nothing deeper than that going on until they start seeing what that actually entails.
Some Dems and pundits overread the significance of Trump's win. They looked at dissatisfaction with the border and discerned a seismic cultural reaction to immigration levels inside the country. The former was real. The latter is a mirage.

Here’s an old piece of mine that’s relevant today. Pelosi: people need to find out what Obamacare actually does. Cruz: once they do, we’re not going to be able to take it away.

Yes.

Nancy Pelosi was right about ObamaCare. So was Ted Cruz.

You know, when you look at a cultural landscape dominated by the likes of Trump and Rogan and McAfee and Zuck and Bezos — physically jacked up, egotistically jacked up, or both — I can’t blame them.

Feels like just five minutes ago young men were leading a revival of Christianity. Now young women are leading an exodus. Maybe both are true. Can’t keep up.

They’re really going with Virginia Giuffre, who is dead, said Trump was a gentleman, aren’t they?
Hannity: When did you notice Biden’s cognitive decline?

Miller: I think it was through all of the times that Trump has fallen asleep in public and talked about magnets getting wet.

Interesting thoughts on slander from the guy who associated Mamdani with 9/11.
This is all they have to say. Weak ass shit.

Cue up the Mel Gibson’s “It’s happening” from “Signs.”

By “it” I mean the threshold where Trump crosses into “we need to save our own asses”/Lame Duck status.

Come on. We all know we’re waiting for when Mike Johnson finally sees the details.
We're all waiting. For what exactly? For a leaked memo that says "TRUMP DID IT"? God himself to descend & verify it?

He participated in the trafficking & rape of little girls. We know it. No one has done shit. There's no real reason to think anyone will do shit if we know more.

Sooner than later, we’re going to reach that threshold where the duck becomes undeniably lame, and members start voting accordingly to save their own political future.
So Bondi, Patel and Blanche are leaning on Boebert and everybody knows it?

They literally cannot be any more corrupt.

I mean, isn’t all evidence “cherry-picked” in this sense?

If I read all the innocuous stuff Republicans just strategically dumped, doesn’t the “cherry,” like, still exist?

A decent number of people were able to enter Trump 1.0 and leave with their reputations more or less intact (Mnuchin, Coen, Kelly, Mattis, Tillerson, et al.).

Bessent was one of the only “respectable”s who agreed to join the parade float of clowns and stooges that is Trump 2.0

So much for that.
Bessent lies shamelessly: "We came in, we inherited a mess. We have brought the inflation down." (Prices have risen by nearly 2 percent since Trump took office.)
