In Croatia I’m speaking with an Austrian who tells me she feels there is not only nothing to look to the US for, in fact the opposite. She says we are not, what sounds like ‘shit-zen.” Schutzen- to protect or safeguard our citizens.

I know there is concern the House will not seat Rep elect Grijalva because of #epsteinfiles, but in doing so #speakerjohnson sets a precedent for not seating Dems elected next Nov.

With ICE raids I guess we should all carry our passports. If someone stopped and asked for my papers how would I prove I was a citizen? My drivers license? Library card? If you’re not worried about this I wonder why?
