Brilliant result!

Once again showing that it's the Lib Dems taking on and beating Reform where it matters - at the ballot box.
Bromsgrove South (Worcestershire) Council By-Election Result:

🔶 LDM: 51.9% (+20.3)
➡️ RFM: 33.4% (-1.5)
🌳 CON: 11.3% (-5.8)
🌹 LAB: 3.4% (-4.1)

No GRN (-5.5) or Ind (-3.4) as previous.

Liberal Democrat GAIN from Reform.
Changes w/ 2025.

I have no issue with crowd control on the underground but sometimes it is quite odd.

Here at Whitechapel station you have entrances for both directions either side of you, but the sign says to go right for westbound trains and forwards for eastbound

Some absolutely cracking albums nominated for the prize. Big fan of Fontaines, CMAT, Wolf Alice and Sam.

Very cool for the local fans too, good to see stuff like this spreading around the UK

I'd say that's a successful day for the Stroud green team! 🔶🔶🔶

This is something we as Liberal Democrats have long called for. Those who wage illegal wars must face the consequences. I'm proud to see this principle become policy.

She seems to think that stamp duty, a tax that's only levied on homes that cost more than £300,000, is the reason that young people aren't buying homes

...I think she needs to speak to the average young person in this country

Trans people are seeing fewer and fewer spaces remain open to them.

Please support their right to exist fully and freely in our society, and urge the City of London to stand with them.

I’ve written to Ofcom urging them to review the BBC’s coverage of Nigel Farage and Reform to see if it is line with broadcast guidance.

The disproportionate coverage of Farage is damaging to the BBC’s reputation as well as our democracy.

This is the direct impact of tip culture on British wages

We don't want to move towards an American model, where a large proportion of earnings come from precarious sources

Tips given for good service, rather than automatically, are the way to avoid this

The real reason London pubs are putting service charges on pints
Plus: Preposterous London property of the week, Lime insists its e-bikes don't pose a threat to your legs, and Transport for London pays for 24/7 security to keep the homeless away from Park Lane.
