It’s hilarious that the Epstein scandal can sink bitcoin but not the presidency.

MAGA is worse than crypto bros.

Just walked by Nathan Fielder in Echo Park. Two weeks ago, I saw Aziz Ansari in Atwater.

This is what “nature is healing” is in Los Angeles. Celebrities are out again.

To prop up the Q Anon movie "Sound of Freedom," ppl bought out full theaters to inflate its grosses to make a statement that their movement was here to stay.

Interesting that nobody felt there was a statement worth making on this one.
Kayleigh: My mom went to see Melania. She said the theater was packed, it was standing room only. People were cheering through it, they were excited. It was interactive—people interplaying with the film. She said it was just electric.

The costly Melania Doc is having an $8M weekend and Deadline is spinning it into a victory.

Box office reporting is dead.

I love in movies when somebody narrating says “they say that _____” and then goes on to say something that nobody has ever said.

Great thread.

Deleted my previous repost bc I had some facts wrong on Oliver Stone's Salvador. Still dangerous though, and an adviser was murdered.
it's a real problem that a good number of the best, most exciting movies ever made, were made in reckless, often extremely unsafe ways, and that the palpable lack of safety often gives them their energy

Clock's ticking on Noem.

Eh. Worth it.

Not even the biggest hit I’ve taken this month.

I have a very good-natured Christian friend in Minneapolis who's never made a political statement in the 20 years I've known her, who's now posting contact info for senators & demanding accountability for the ICE murders.

So good job maga. You radicalized the quietest person I've ever known.

I know nostalgia for Blockbuster is a thing. I don’t really remember it that way. I remember it having fewer movies than the stores I went to as a kid. But I worked at Blockbuster when I was 17.

Here are some things that happened while I was there.

I just ran something that I wrote through an AI detector. I literally put it together from scratch. I'm apparently 82% robot.
