They have barely regulated shit in the last few decades, having less competition in America directly increases other countries' ability to compete. The reason everything sucks is because there are like four or five monopolies and the only competition is for the chance to steal another monopoly
If we over regulate, then we will be looking at Chinese companies fighting to be the dominant platform.
China is doing all they can to supplant our lead. If you think dealing with these 5 comps is bad, imagine if Tik Tok, Alibaba, Baidu, Huawei replaced Google,FB,Amazon/Apple as leaders

I completely get it. They have shareholders, employees, and customers to satisfy. They can’t afford to fall behind even at the whims of a capricious criminal president. Maybe if tech was adequately regulated this would be less of an issue
