So friggin’ true. Unbelievable.
Watching Kamala Harris talking to Rachel Maddow is so disheartening. Such an intelligent, wise, and well-spoken person who could have been our president. Instead, we have a simple-minded buffoon because we are a country full of racist misogynists.

We're launching our Push for Progress campaign to accelerate ALS research, expand treatment access, & secure $1BN in federal funding over 3 years. ALS is at a tipping point CLOSE to new treatments, but thousands will lose access unless we TAKE ACTION @ iamals.org/progress

Maggie is awesome!! Can’t wait to see what you show us in the Mile High City. Please follow along with Maggie and @iamals.bsky.social during this Week of Action and find your own way to take action!!
Meet our longtime ally and community partner Maggie, who will be taking us around Denver, CO, and telling us why she’s on the #PushforProgress train all week long!

It won’t be hard. All Republicans. All of them! May their children and grandchildren not believe the bullshit lies they will spin. They bent the knee to and kissed the ass of the worst human this country has produced. The damage they did will last decades.
If what we hope will happen ever happens, we'll watch as many, many people in the world of politics, overnight, go on to pretend they were always against what preceded it. This era has been a highly effective acid test for character. Take notes now, so that you don't forget in the future.

Absolutely incredible video of a woman standing up to ICE. This is resistance

I look forward to the future “MAGA/Trump” exhibit that will teach future Americans how millions of people celebrated a dumb, amoral, criminal with hats and flags as he pulled them into his ignorance. Gonna need a lot of space for it. Maybe the White House ballroom?
Trump is now claiming that museums are the last segment of wokeness in America. There’s a lot we could say about how completely absurd and unhinged that is, but honestly, his own words say more than we ever could. Here’s what he posted:

Our heroes. Only the best. Look at who we have in ICE now. Imagine who they’re going to attract for the tens of thousands of new positions on the way.
LA Times: 10 ICE urinating in a school parking lot adjacent to bldg where preschool & elementary summer school classes being held. School superintendent asked local authorities to investigate who & why they were on school property & indecently exposed themselves where small children could see.

Why do any world leaders come to Washington to visit our POS leader? You can bet they are talking amongst themselves and planning to carry on without the U.S. Too bad for us, but I can't blame them. It will take years for us to recover our reputation. Maybe we don't deserve to.

I’ll play. Let’s say we require Great Lakes freighters to carry a more effective life preserver for the sailors. Add 1 reg, take away 10, and we’ll soon be back to the good ol’ days.

So much wrong in this letter. So much.

Goddamnit!
They did it. They terminated my NEH grant. Their letter went to my junk mail. This is an active grant that would have finished on June 30.

“Your grant’s immediate termination is necessary to safeguard the interests of the federal government”

What is just as bad as the federal gov’t proudly purging Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion VALUES are private companies and non-profits doing it, but doing it quietly. “Maybe no one will notice.” Such little backbone & integrity left in America.
