Hello, in case you were wondering about this: because false positives are so common and prostate cancers tend to grow very slowly, doctors do not usually recommend prostate cancer screening for men over 70.

“Someone You Can Build a Nest In”

What a weird and perfectly wonderful book! Asking “What if the monster was actually misunderstood and loveable?” is not a new trope. But no one does it quite like Wiswell, making the monster still a terrifying human-eater while you fall in love with them. #booksky

One of the first popes to not just understand sin.

But to also understand cos.
The new pope has a maths degree.

Finally—a Pontiff who really knows his cardinal numbers

So they made a laser that lets you see new colors?? How do I sign up? (Honestly just fixing the colorblindness would be cool, I don’t even need the new color) #SciSky

This is a friendly reminder that library cards are free, and your local public library will never make you pay extra so you don't have to watch ads.

Cleat Cute by Meryl Wilsner. At the start I wasn’t impressed with this book but it really turned it around! The relationship was so cute and the characters were unique and well written. Also a relatively healthy relationship, at least by romance novel standards. Great times! #booksky

Just finished A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck. Very good. I love me some existentialism. But I think what really makes this book special is that it’s one of the most visceral illustrations I’ve ever seen of humans’ inability to truly comprehend large numbers. And how trying to truly is hell.
