RIP Brewers. I guess we were at least really good in July and August. Idk.

Get Ortiz out of there.

That was a weirdly great game for an October loss.

Commenter today pretty much nailed it: "Online fandom seems to be build on believing your team will lose and being annoyed when the media says your team will lose."

Randy Johnson started this game for the Mariners
Cal Raleigh was small dumper when this game started
Dan Wilson was clean shaven when this game started

The plan is to make the Cubs so tired with all this running around the bases that they will still be exhausted on Saturday. Meanwhile, by refusing to advance beyond third base, the Brewers are stockpiling energy.

This is what I get for letting myself believe the Brewers could actually win a playoff series.

Oh, we're getting this version of Freddy Peralta tonight.

Shoulda let Monasterio bat.
October 9, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Civale seems like he's pitching pretty well. Glad they decided to use him when the Cubs were already way behind.

What do the Padres need to do to break the "That's what's in" curse? How did the Cubs fix their goat problem?
October 3, 2025 at 1:23 AM
The Eric Fedde era of the Brewers didn't last long.

Putting Ortiz in to pinch-hit for Monasterio was certainly a choice.

The Brewers need to fix whatever's going on with Chourio before the playoffs. I feel like he's an automatic out right now.

Somehow the Brewers will come back and win this game thanks to the heroics of Danny Jansen. I'm calling it now.
September 24, 2025 at 3:31 AM
I kind of feel like the Brewers could have won this one if there was a moderately decent umpire behind the plate.
Final: Brewers 4, Padres 5
Umpire: Roberto Ortiz

That went exactly as expected.

Joey Ortiz in a high-leverage situation. Yay

With the Cubs loss, the Brewers clinch the division! Thank you, Cincinnati!

Glad they put Grant Anderson in there to walk in a run and safely put this game away for the Cardinals. So helpful.
September 21, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Durbin hit by yet another pitch. I think he's second in the league at this point.
September 21, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Grant Anderson back off the trust tree
September 20, 2025 at 1:58 AM
Payamps is in. Guess we want to lose this one.
September 14, 2025 at 8:47 PM
Danny Jansen is tired of hearing us complain I guess.
