Almost done with the book. I love the way he deconstructs our assumptions about what is in the Bible and about what Jesus was actually saying versus the commentary and older teachings which we were encouraged to reform. He makes it actually entertaining yet thought-provoking. Excellent audiobook!
A formative and important book. It grounds the Christ model of compassion into spiritual simplicity. It's also funny as he'll.
