Safari on iOS dark mode finally uses default link colors that have sufficient contrast! Can’t believe it took Apple years to realize dark blue on black wasn’t a good idea…

TIL that C originally only used the first 8 characters of identifiers. Maybe that explains some of the cryptic function names in libc…

I was excited to try a lightweight text editor that was written in C. First thing I did was tried to change the font and… it segfaulted inside strlen 😬

Completed another batch of Project Euler problems using: ATS, Pre-Scheme, Common Lisp, Mouse ('83), Cyber, Varyx, Rye, Rexx, and Nelua.

Rye and Nelua are lesser-known and both worth a look!

I only need to use 1 more programming language to reach my goal of solving 100 Project Euler problems using a different language for each. The problem is that I can't decide between: newLISP (Lisp scripting language), Nelua (Lua-inspired compiled language), and Otus Lisp (tiny Scheme impl.)

The XOR operator in the Rexx programming language is: &&

Can't imagine THAT ever causing a problem!

Why do I feel an irresistible urge to get every vintage computer I own onto the internet somehow, even though I know I will probably spend more time setting it up than actually using it?

Is this some sort of immutable law of vintage computing?
