One of the worst things about SlopGen for me is, making tons of images quickly is precisely what a lot of indie TCGs are susceptible to falling for. SO much potential and innovation for the genre is WASTED by refusing to just use shitty human-made placeholders. Let your design speak for itself!

They've been doing white supremacy for so long that they forgot these narratives only work because the average white American understands being afraid of black people to support the police, they started to believe it's a cheat code to justify any and all police violence because it worked until now.
What person would believe the official narrative if they’ve ever had to have even one interaction with a cop in their life? I mean it truly is a choice to be so naive at this point, a political act unto itself. They not only have your complicity but your intellectual integrity, your self-respect.

Well-meaning adults will tell young men that kindness is all that matters. But boys have eyes and ears, they can observe how the world works, and who gets rewarded. "Competent and kind" is the ideal but if society has to settle for just one of them, it'll take the former.

It is very easy to take the exact wrong lesson from that ("I need to stop being kind" instead of "I need to stop being weak"). You may start projecting cruelty because you think that's the one society likes, but it's actually just what society tolerates from a capable man.

Here's the thing: As a young boy, at some point you find out that the world hates "weak, but kind" much, much more than it hates "capable, but evil," because it figures the second one can be reformed into something useful to society.

I’ve had to tell YouTube “don’t recommend this channel” now with so many game-oriented YouTube channels because their thumbnails are all AI.
When it comes to the usage of GenAI, retro gamers like youtubers and people making assets for fangames for specific engines and frontends might be the biggest offenders. Every addon software for stuff like EmulationStation, Batocera, etc. are now using AI generated logos or thumbnails for their shit
