The stones are not only in constant conversation with each other, but with the land itself. We approach and catch them in the act of chatting. Just for a moment we feel we are intruding, feel we have broken an intimate spell. – Dr. K. Brophy #StandingStoneSunday

What fictional creature/villain traumatised you as a child?

Obviously I feel silly about this now. Junior Gorg is actually a very sweet guy, but as a small child I seriously couldn't handle the way he goes for Gobo in the opening.

I've been collecting pandemic era signs that nobody can be bothered to take down or remove. There's something grimly fascinating about this. Putting them up was urgent and important; removing them is nobody's job. How long will some of these hang around?

Admittedly I'm not sure what would stop the toys from turning against humanity if they got organised. It was established in the first film that they can become animate around humans and attack them if they choose to. You just know that there are rogue toys in this universe who are all for rebellion.
Fortunately, I already figured out the plots of the next several Toy Story films

I’ve seen the French-Belgian film about the four dandelion seeds. It’s well trippy. They get chased by flying space tadpoles and ride a potato to safety.

To celebrate One Foot In The Grave returning to BBC iPlayer, here's my review of the bottle episode "The Beast In The Cage". How does a block of dialogue cut from the television version (but retained for radio) change everything? And why does this sweltering bank holiday look so suspiciously chilly?
Living In The Bottle: The Beast In The Cage (One Foot In The Grave)
Something I've come to appreciate about One Foot In The Grave is how beautifully ominous the episode titles tend to be. In keeping with the...
