This makes Trump seem reasonable and not a threat. That's not a good strategy for Dems. Perhaps even dangerous. Should Trump ever propose anything concrete that is positive, that will be the time for such comments. Not ahead of time. Only legitimizes a liar who tried to destroy American democracy.
