if you are food insecure for both the humans and pets in your household there is a tool called Pet Help Finder that can help locate pet food banks nearby and other free or reduced price assistance and supplies for pets.
no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, should have to give up their pet bc of this.

I think that there are genuinely huge social media opportunities for archivists to be hashtag relatable but to do that we have to strike a really difficult balance and avoid putting donors on blast

oh just straight up gutter racism!
So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."

Athens County in Ohio is located in rural Appalachia, and is deeply impacted by both poverty and hunger. It is also a beautiful, vibrant community. Home to Ohio University, and a rare deep blue spark in a ruby red state, people who live outside the city limits need help

Goddamn I need to post some more about my hobbies. My entire profile is an AI hate bubble and we could really use some diversification.

Tumblr is still a fun place to be but MAN do they have some piss poor popular opinions about AI over there
October 25, 2025 at 5:08 PM
This is cool! What the fuck is the framing from business insider though.
“A wave of anti-AI ads is appearing on TV screens, billboards, and social media feeds worldwide, as big brands tap into consumers' weariness with the technology.”
Big brands are cashing in on your AI ick
Heineken, Aerie, and Polaroid have joined the anti-AI wave, cozying up to customers who dig an analog life.

They got Claudine Gay out of the Harvard presidency over a footnote.
Ngl, seeing “you’re holding the nazi tatted racist white man to impossible standards” as a Black woman, aka the demographic ACTUALLY held to impossible standards, pisses me off deeply. The bar is so low for them and they still can’t clear it, but we’re “ideological purists” for pointing that out.

Are women bourgeois?
