I’ve been backed into a corner by a 7 year old and strong armed into Elf on a Shelf. I tried to tell her those are assigned by Santa and I can’t help if she doesn’t have one like her BFF. So she wrote a whole letter to Santa (which I’m meant to mail now) making a case for her getting assigned one 😑

I’m actually not sure if I’ve ever been this genuinely sad in my entire life. When my mom died, it was sudden, and traumatic, and different. The sadness kinda came later. I’m so deeply sad that I have to keep reminding myself to breathe.

The pup is going to the vet later. Some things have had us a little concerned. I’m hoping it’s nothing serious, but he’s 11 and in the back of my mind I know we’re in the last chapter with him and I’m hating this so much 😖

We have a family wedding today and I only bought one dress but the ceremony is hours before the reception so now I’m trying to figure out if I can scrounge up something appropriate but more comfortable for the church & saw the dress for the reception 🧐

Completed the slightly overwhelming task of going thru all Abbie’s stuff and asking her to pick things to donate in order to make room for new things this coming Christmas. Also threw away trash / damaged things and organized as we went. 😮💨
