I turned my #SkyHoops list into a Starter Pack. They managed to let me put 197 on it instead of 150, but then they cut me off so it's on someone else to create the next pack! 😉
I don’t love that this was against the Wolves but we won so I can repost it. 😉

My favorite thing in basketball is when they leave someone wide open on the 3 point line, don’t even pretend to guard them, just stare at them while they go through their entire shot routine, and then they miss.
It hits just right. Thanks for that one, Nurkic.

Do we have stats on how many timeouts coaches have wasted fixing calls for the refs?

It’s wild to be on this side of the turnover stats. Is this what joy feels like?

Ok, I hate that the refs finally call a foul for Ant in a moment where he drew it in the most 🙄 way.
Can we stop rewarding this kind of foul baiting and just start actually seeing f*ck¡ng fouls on the flow of the game??

It happened again! Magic!
Holy shit. Rudy put his hands up and that resulted in a rebound. Bonkers how that works. Maybe something to try again.

I normally hate back-to-backs and I think they should be removed from the NBA but I’m grateful for this one tonight. Happy to use the Timberwolves as a distraction.

Senate Dems are out here posting noise like "omg the Senate GOP just voted against healthcare subsidies and are trying to sneak a bunch of terrible shit into the funding bill" — and people are flooding their mentions with "bitch, please, GTFOH"
Never seen such a dramatic swing in political momentum

When I’m not raging about politics or watching basketball I’m photographing fish and I think that’s called ‘balance’.
The rivers around Puget Sound are alive with chum salmon right now. Have you been lucky enough to spot any near you? 💕🐟

This is a bad deal, and the old way of doing things is clearly not working.

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.

Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

If you need something cuter this morning, the orcas are back and they’re very chatty.
There’s a ferry going through right this second that’s loud af, but after that docks you’ll hear whale calls galore.

The endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales are being very vocal (and adorable) this morning on the Sunset Bay hydrophone, just north of downtown Edmonds:

I was finally motivated after this last election, but after the Dems lost their backbone again tonight, for about the 5 millionth time lately, I’m back to being numb, politically.
Burn it all down.

So happy to see Jaylen figuring out this little shooting slump. That takes a lot of mental strength to regroup and regain confidence that quickly.
