2 meter antenna update: upgraded to low loss KMR240 feed cable from antenna to preamp. Added 33ft of lossy cable after the preamp so I could relocate the Raspberry Pi to the other side of the room. But took out the 10dB attenuator, so I think it will be ok.

For the uninitiated: these are capacitors from the power supply to my Logitech computer speakers. They're supposed to have flat tops. Domed tops = bad capacitors = sound is cutting out.

I need some more studying to understand ALL this, but I gather it's "okay" for the 2 meter band. This is a fan dipole with a second leg for the air band, which is probably going to get cut down for use on the 70 cm band instead, as my cross dipole works surprisingly well for airplanes.
