Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

I'm a bit overwhelmed. What a tragedy. We need to get a hold of ourselves and do what it takes to stop the violence in our country. It's going to take for us to lay aside our differences and come together as One Nation for the COMMON GOOD of ALL.
Gov. Tim Walz has called the shootings of Rep. Melissa Hortman & Sen. John Hoffman what they are: politically motivated assassinations. Tragically, Rep. Hortman & her husband did not survive. Sen. Hoffman & his wife are out of surgery, but no other details are available yet.
