Time to rescue this one from Twitter:
Actually a queue for the new M&S Food Hall in Bath before opening. Most middle class city ever.

Did one mission of Red Alert before work, and just one cheeky blast of those sound effects and that music healed me on a deeply spiritual level – so did watching 40 lads get zapped with a Tesla Coil in 15 seconds (the lads were mine).

Watching The Avengers, and remembering how updating TechRadar's Marvel movies in order list (which was an SEO monster for years) basically made me hate them for about 5 years. I may still hate them, deep down! No human is supposed to think about them for more than 10 minutes.

Really proud of this @pcgamer.com cover story. I got to talk to some really cool people at Bethesda and Obsidian about Fallout, and @robertnjones.bsky.social did one of my favorite back pages in awhile!

Demanded £150 back from my electric company then immediately spent 60 quid of it on a ticket for an all-you-can-drink beer festival 🙏

I have multiple group chats now where I'm negotiating things like, 'if you put down the 30 quid for ARC Raiders/Helldivers 2, I promise we will play it a minimum of 4 times together. I will even stump up 10 quid of the cost if it gets this over the line."

For PC Gamer I wrote about the distinct melancholic magic of GTA IV. They’ll never make one quite like this again and that’s fine cos I have this one. www.pcgamer.com/games/grand-...
Any remake of GTA 4 must preserve its minigames and misery
Niko Bellic’s would-be redemption story is a dart to the heart.

Wonder Man on Disney Plus being highly watchable was not expected. Two episodes down and I'd almost recommend it to a non-superhero fan.

I've never identified with a character in a superhero movie more than latter day Jon Favreau using his CPAP machine in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Just got so much biscuit on myself on the train that it appalled the person next to me into moving seats 🤌

There's something strangely evil about those Beatles film images. Like we've entered the Boomer endgame somehow.

If I could make one of these weekly, I would. Also, I would have no time for anything else.

The first season of this was magic (also shout out to Ronald Gladden for not getting cancelled in the meantime since it aired). Curious to see this spin on it. www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/j...

A lot of effort for one episode. But worth it!
Coming Friday! Who would finish a 30-hour game just for one podcast? Us, apparently. And @jeremypeel.bsky.social!

Three Giant Men Play Grand Theft Auto IV is this week's episode. Here's a preview:
