Haven’t been brave enough to read the full Vulture article yet but given the commentary, Neil Gaiman clearly a monstrous man. A lesson that such unchecked misogyny can lurk in even those whose work seems imbued with emotionally intelligence. I hope his victims heal and due justice is served.

Nosferatu sublime aesthetically, like being lost in a dread-filled dream. I struggled to connect with it emotionally though. Like admiring a magnificent painting but not being moved by it. This perhaps due to the screenplay’s intermittent hamminess being at odds with the film’s visual authenticity…

Happened across a man in deep emotional distress late one night this week. I sat with him and during that time two other men passing by asked us if we were Ok or needed anything. So heartening. Bristol can feel like a special place sometimes.
