Discovered my co-host didn't know anything about Christianity, so we had to do a little crash course prior to discussing The Exorcist. I'm sure no one will be offended by my off-the-cuff summary of 4000 years of religious tradition.
Discussing The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty (Part 1) - Words About Books
We spend a long time bringing Nate up to speed on Christianity. Then we spend a long time talking about The Exorcist.

Hey #FilmSky, can you help us out? What's one more movie like this?
August 15, 2025 at 3:44 AM
Guess the movie! A 1980s tween makes a wish on a novelty item, turns into their 30 year old self, and learns that growing up too fast isn't all it's cut out to be.

Did you guess 13 Going on 30 AND Big? Because they're the same picture ✨🔮

I'm going to talk about Beowulf, and frankly, I don't care how boring or shoe-horned in you find it to be.

Do people know they don't need to post series finale spoilers the day after a show's final season drops or nah

No, I be the witch of the wood 🙋

We're talking two movies where a young woman faces unspeakable family tragedy, is trapped in the wilderness, and watches horrific rituals unfold around her. It's The VVitch and Midsommar, featuring @dantendo64.bsky.social!

I went to the movies tonight. I saw a movie that starred actors from popular film franchises (Star Wars, MCU, etc) and was an examination of what is more valuable in life: people or possessions.

The self-contained "mini-movie" which opens WHEN A STRANGER CALLS (1979) is an absolute masterclass of escalating tension. Perfection.

Too bad the rest of the film feels lackluster in comparison.

Shout out to my girl, Carol Kane!
