Looking back at some stuff I wrote for the AV Club, I think this turned out well and I got a chance to take a slightly larger scale look at the history of big Marvel heroes. (Do one of these for Daredevil, Penguin Classics!)

I stopped watching old L&O episodes because fucking Rudy Giuliani showed up in one episode to introduce a new DA, but I'll get back into modern L&O if Zohran Mamdani makes a cameo to explain that deceased actor Steven Hill has returned to serve as the city's DA once again.

I've been rewatching Zeta Gundam, and even though I know why they did it and I think subtlety is overrated, giving the Federation Zaku-like suits and giving the AEUG a White Base-like ship is silly.

I bought a PS5 when I saw how expensive the Switch 2 was going to be (and Xbox is dead as a platform), so now that I've finished DS2 (masterpiece), I'm checking out some PS exclusives I never played.
I just finished The Last Of Us, and here's my hot take: It's good. Gameplay shows its age a lot.

It's dumb and gross that this exists. If you're going to force out the original creator, make a new game. Don't just make his game again so you can keep selling it without his name on it. And that's only partially because I was also someone who was unfairly let go from a job I did for a long time.
