We are failing our young people.

We don’t fund schools fully or pay teachers properly.

Housing is expensive & jobs are precarious.

Families are stressed & hope is fading.

And when they get into trouble, governments want to throw them in jail for longer - not fund the services they need.

Congratulations Zohran Mamdani on a seismic victory to become New York’s next mayor!

Up against the odds, the prejudice & the billionaires, his campaign ran on courage & won.

A big step forward for free childcare, freezing rents and making life affordable again.

And a huge step forward for hope ❤️

Labor sat on the climate risk report, approved the North West Shelf gas project & announced weak CO2 targets that will cause climate carnage.

Labor pretends to care but is actually failing.

But the people of Wills won’t be fooled.

We will fight for our planet & all life on earth with all we have.

When the neo-Nazis started to congregate and organise in Victoria years ago, we sounded the alarm.

A parliamentary inquiry initiated by the Greens gave the Victorian government a good chance to understand the nature of the threat posed by these right-wing extremists.

Everything Labor does from now on to support Palestinian liberation will be BECAUSE of the power of the Palestinians & everyday people who have mobilised against the genocide.

Not because of Labor’s morality or courage.
August 5, 2025 at 10:49 AM
So proud of our community for showing up in their thousands for peace for Palestinians today ❤️

Too many politicians deride this movement when they feel overwhelmed by their own moral failures.

But history won’t reward the
cowards.

History will remember the courageous.

Sanction Israel now.

Someone has to start.

The world will follow.

Before all the children in Gaza die.
July 25, 2025 at 3:33 AM
People in Gaza are being starved by Israel.

More words from Australian Labor today, trying to appease their consciences.

But they’ve sat on their hands for 18 months & alongside too many other countries, have given Israel moral cover for this genocide.

Sanction Israel NOW.

Great speech Rosalie Woodruff & well done @tasmaniangreens.bsky.social on a great election result so far with more counting to go 💚

No bombs.

No war.

No AUKUS.
June 22, 2025 at 2:13 AM
This Refugee Week comes at a time when we are witnessing in real time how our lives across borders are intertwined.

As war erupts, more & more people will flee across the world.

Only to be met with more closed borders and cruelty, not care, for those running for their lives.
June 16, 2025 at 12:06 PM
Imagine. Just imagine.

That instead of these bombs, war mongering and death, the world was organising peace summits.

Places, spaces, forums, across continents to talk about de-escalation , disarmament, peace and celebrating our diverse communities, their strengths and beauty.

Love, strength and power to all those brave souls aboard the @freedomflotilla.bsky.social, facing incredible threats right now.

We are with you ❤️

Labor is now using the same talking points as big wealthy property corporations.

If only supply is the problem, why are 8,000 new homes sitting unsold in Victoria right now?

It doesn’t add up.

Housing minister declares Australia has made it 'uneconomic' to build homes
In a frank interview with the ABC, Housing Minister Clare O'Neil declared that Australia has made it "uneconomic" to build homes.

Labor has approved Australia’s largest fossil fuel project today.

Woodside’s North West Shelf project will be allowed to burn gas until 2070.

It will spew 4.3 BILLION tonnes of carbon pollution over its lifetime.

Our planet does not stand a chance with Labor in charge.

After weeks of counting, the final results for Wills are in.

We achieved a 7.57+ swing to the Greens!

We fell short by 1.5% or 1600 votes, but have narrowed the margin.

It’s never been closer.

And it’s now clear that Labor cannot win Wills without Liberal and One Nation preferences.
May 23, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Why won’t Australia sanction, or even threaten to sanction Israel?

Gaza has been starved intentionally since March the 2nd.
May 20, 2025 at 2:49 AM
In The Age today, there is an extensive piece by Chip Le Grand about the election campaign in Wills.

You will notice the absence of the voices and perspectives of all the other candidates except for Labor.
May 17, 2025 at 8:07 AM
This week Labor confirmed that the Upfield train line will have NO more than 3 trains per hour.

Now the election is done, their pretence of doing anything about the Upfield line is over.

The status quo continues:
❌public school funding cuts
❌poor services in the north

👋🏽 A quick update regarding the Wills vote count.

While some media outlets are projecting a Labor win in Wills, we understand that there are over 10k votes that haven’t been counted that could make the result much closer.

We are unlikely to know more until the end of the week.
May 6, 2025 at 9:08 AM
Our campaign to turn Wills Greens has been historic 💚

The count remains close & the results will go up and down over the next few days. But I remain hopeful as I have throughout this incredible journey.

I’ve always been ready to serve our community & that will never change.
May 4, 2025 at 1:44 AM
Today’s the day. We are on the brink of something historic here in Wills.

If less than 1 in 10 people change their vote, the Greens can win here.

A better world is possible, you just have to vote for it.
May 2, 2025 at 9:12 PM
Far-right populists have a playbook: they pick fights with the things that help people feel acknowledged, included & respected.

It’s a tactic designed to divide us and exploit people’s anxieties.

Dutton’s war on Welcome to Country ceremonies is another chapter in this tired, dangerous playbook.
April 29, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Every new coal and gas project makes the climate crisis worse.

And Labor has approved over 30 new coal & gas projects since they got into government.

We know the Liberals want even more, plus nuclear 🤯

We can’t keep voting for the same two parties and expect a different result.

Vote [1] Greens
April 28, 2025 at 7:10 AM
Early voting is now open!

That means now - right now - you can head down to an early voting centre near you and vote for the change we really need.

VOTE for dental into Medicare. VOTE for rent caps & lower mortgages. VOTE for real climate action. VOTE for justice for Palestine.

It’s up to us.
