I don’t think Freddie is dense, per say. I think he’s a good-natured, beautiful young man, and as is often the way with good-natured beautiful young men, everyone he meets is nice to him and as a result he has a charming (but doomed) lack of cynicism.

I don’t think Freddie is dense, per say. I think he’s a good-natured, beautiful young man, and as is often the way with good-natured beautiful young men, everyone he meets is nice to him and as a result he has a charming (but doomed) lack of cynicism.

I'm on his side. Honestly this series reminds me how softly POC men in particular have to tread to be viewed as not too much (aggressive, calculating, haughty etc) in lots of British social and work contexts.
