Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is preventable but too few women know the risks about a condition thought to affect nearly 4% of people. Warnings labels about drinking alcohol during pregnancy are still not mandatory.

Our new scoping review of prenatal alcohol exposure and attachment. We found that the current literature is limited and yields inconsistent results.

Drinking alcohol is a risk factor for several cancers.

In 2015, approx. 6.5% of deaths in Scotland were attributable to alcohol consumption and 28% of these alcohol-attributable deaths were due to cancer.
