One of the points highlighted by this important piece of research is how many care experienced children are exposed to alcohol yet fail to get a FASD diagnosis 😒

The findings from this research are important for 3 reasons
- Harm from drinking in pregnancy shown at relatively low levels half a bottle of wine/2 pints/wk.
- This harm is masked by other factors, but it's still there.
- Teachers are "seeing" this harm at reception age they just don't know it.

On Saturday I took part in my very first protest march. I am so saddened by the new access limits the government has applied to the ASGSF. As our chant said these children need "care not cuts".
