Life is requiring a lot of brain power right now, and the only thing clearing the sludge has been these black space experiments.

Having to read people comparing M3GAN 2.0 to Terminator 2 makes me fear we will indeed be overtaken by AI. And, instead of Sarah Connor defending us we’ll have an army of sympathisers.

Some advice from a Scottish person for any producers setting a production in Scotland. If you intend to cast people from outside Scotland in a role with a Scottish accent please hire an accent coach who is actually Scottish themselves because these accents in Dept Q are very distracting.

We won a pub quiz for the second week running last night and I feel like I’ve reached the pinnacle of accomplishment in my life.

Turns out @mothsprimkle.bsky.social, @sagalauren.bsky.social, James and I make a great team — and together together we are… The Sherlock Homos. 🕵️

Having watched #TLOU Season Two finale I have to admit my fears were cemented of it being a diluted version of Part Two. And, I know, it's a long game and it's an adaptation, but it feels very much like the creators were scared to put the darkness on a television screen instead of a gaming one.

Rewatching (well, it's on in the background) Pretty Little Liars reminds me of just how perfectly ridiculous that show was. From the storylines to the fashion to the editing choices it was all performed with just the right mix of dedication and understanding.

A common occurrence happens every time I read a new @mariwriter.bsky.social book in that my surroundings match the colours of the cover art. This time the highlands of Scotland on the banks of Loch Morlich.

Everyone loved Joel/Pedro Pascal, yet every week I’m faced with articles about #TLOU and how Bella Ramsey isn’t Ellie enough, or how Isabella Merced has changed the story of the game to make Dina more important, or how Kaitlyn Dever is, well, Abby - I wonder what the connecting thread could be…

Maybe I’ve streamed too many hours of Blue Prince play-throughs because when I walked over a dirt pile in the middle of an Edinburgh street my brain went “wait you missed a dig spot” before quickly remembering where I was and done what I could to pretend I was normal.

I’m bored of the is Kaitlyn Dever built to play Abby debate? As if she’s being reduced to what her body tells us. But, wait, of course it does, she’s a woman. How she looks tells us more than the words she says, the emotions she gives as she protects - not kills - in #TLOU Part 2, right? *sighs*

How #TLOU HBO series continues to honour Ashley Johnson makes me heart happy. There was no more emotionally fitting way to mark THAT episode than her version of Through the Valley from TLOU Part 2 Covers and Rarities EP as the ending scores.

Falling asleep with a stream of Blue Prince on Twitch while having musical theatre songs stuck in my head meant waking up from a dream where I was in a maze of different productions which included a version of Oliver with Olivia Coleman and Les Mis with a dog..?

Is it Thursday yet? Well, actually... Four years ago the realms of TTRPGs were foreign to me. But, thanks to TLOU and discovering Ellie & Abby were on this dnd series together my life changed. I made friends, I started writing, and I discovered the world of fanart and illustration.

I’m 2 days late for Autism Awareness Day

4 years late based on the timing of my Revelation

14 years late based on my 1st Era of Questioning

28 years late based on my 1st memory of being aware of my own “weirdness”

I don’t need a day but I do need a moment to be brave enough to say these words.

You know yesterday was #worldautismawarenessday. I knew this but never said anything. Last year I said something, had no response, and deleted said post. I guess people who aren’t figuring themselves out don’t understand the duality of emotions when we share something personal.

Anyone for some MAK (@mika.rip @ashleyroboto.com & @katskratchh.bsky.social) R.E.P.O art albeit before they went and changed up their cosmetics? It helped remove my creative block at least for a few hours maybe it can yours.

Imagine if anyone in the last two seasons of #RHOBH - who believes Kyle is questioning her sexual orientation - sat down with her and said they empathise with her having to go through this confusing time in the public eye when it’s no-one’s right to know until she does and decides to share it.

Sometimes I wonder if there’s a more proof I need that I’m autistic and then I realise I’ve been listening to different performances of the exact same song on repeat for an hour.

People being unable to appreciate cool cinematography in shows because they don’t have 100% dialogue throughout is why we have so much shovelware equivalent media bro oh my lord 😭

My friend brought her copy of The Chronicles of Exandria Part Two to our theatre group tonight. It’s one thing to have a far of dream of imagining my own art appearing in a book like that, nevermind two other people looking over my shoulder and saying how they can’t wait to see that too.

A week late but nonetheless I’m about to press play in season three of #yellowjackets and I’m so intrigued to where Melanie, Christina, and Tawny take us this year.

Traditional employment is something that seems impossible most days thanks to the way my brain works. Last week though I tried. I applied for a vacancy on though would be fine, got an interview and prepared, and then today was told I wasn’t successful but “did the best I could with what I had”.
