i must say, the whole “frankenstein is actually the dr”/“no he was actually an undergrad” thing is very relatable to me as an undergraduate who spends all my time cosplaying as an academic and then having to tell people i’m actually 20 and degree-less

proud to announce that i have just won time management. finished my essay before midnight and then roller skated for precisely 1 hour without paying attention to the time.

one thing i’ve learnt about oxford from skating in the middle of the night is that we really have some awesome public transport. i certainly wouldn’t be worried about getting hit by a bus at 2am at home in rural north yorkshire!

hearing people talk about how they go running bc "it's horrible whilst you're doing it but satisfying afterwards" is so bewildering to me... like you do know there are infinitely other forms of exercise that are both fun in the moment and satisfying afterward?
