Boxman isn't the only kreeatiun from the Dreamscape. There are many others like him that live on the floating islands that is the Ayteleer.
A few such are Aurora, Sconce, Iris, Blot and Tatter.

Basically Sessilorn is obsessed with beauty. He follows (and is gay for) Vrauvye because he sees him as the pinicle of yorone beauty. So with that in mind, he's hinted through the whole series to be holding back, or hiding a great well of energy. In the last fight with Blake it's revealed+
having trouble with his true form
it's gotta be ugly and mishapen but i also do want it to look kinda Good still
it's hard to balance i guess. unless i saw Fuck It and make the least possible appealing design

the diagonal lines are there over the whole body but only show when certain parts of him twist or bend.
his body can be twisted/stretched into flexible spears, extremely hard and sharp. the only part that cannot be twisted is where his heart used to be
