I know it gets prods and pokes a lot and the first one is said to be forgettable but ngl the character work is pretty nice, I like the themes crossing over with certain characters.

When you pick apart Dark Souls seriously I feel it reflects upon mental health struggles.
Becoming "Hollow" was means of giving out or giving up. It taught us as the player to push forward and become greater and stronger than we were before despite the desolation.
This is why it meant a lot to me
