What a shameful country we have built in that middle schoolers are lauded for saving their peers from bullets because their elected officials won’t

Two children were killed, and 18 children between the ages 6 and 15 were injured by a shooter. Middle schoolers acted heroically to protect others, a parent said.

From the Editorial Board:

A naturalized citizen is no less than a U.S.-born citizen. On this Independence Day, we’re deeply troubled by the current administration’s threatened violation of that pact.

Becoming a U.S. citizen is a thing of finality and a commitment on both sides. Naturalized citizens deserve the same protections as the U.S. born.

Stripping birthright citizenship from people born in this country goes against rights guaranteed in the Constitution. We must stand against unconstitutional actions and stand up for the fundamental rights granted to people in the United States of America.

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

Genuinely wondering if Ashlee Barker just earned herself a spot in the next WNBA draft off this game

Could do worse than using a 2nd or 3rd to bring her into the fold
What a game!!!

Feeling for Sarah Ashlee Barker - what an incredible game. Unbelievable effort.

There have been so many docs made lately about this sport, but NOW at last a scripted series is on the way.
