Music, TTRPGs, and Baseball, mostly.
I've just been constantly tearing up for the last day, and I have a feeling it's gonna get a whoooooole lot worse when #Over/Under officially ends at 3.

#OVER/UNDER
I fucking hate leaving summer camp I cry every single year.

#over/under 's Promcoming is perhaps the only time I've ever enjoyed a dance, and I didn't just enjoy it, I was absolutely ENTRACED. How are all these silly sci-fi people in my computer so emotionally impactful???

You have an idea for #Over/Under. You toss it out there. One person picks it up. An hour later you are typing and reading as fast as you can to respond to everyone playing with it.

It's absolutely intoxicating.

I hate that I can already tell how painfully I'm going to miss #over/under when it's finished.

SPINE has been released on itch! You can download your PDF or a printable booklet today to start playing!

I'm keeping it FREE through the end of October.

backwards-tabletop.itch.io/spine
SPINE is a solo tabletop RPG that looks like a book. It is your anchor to the fictional world, a prop, and a work of art — a keepsake — that you co-create, all in one.

In SPINE, you quite literally embody a researcher who is reading and marking up the physical book in front of you.

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

on the one hand language follows usage and policing it is futile and on the other hand I believe this p strongly & have a similar schtick about calling one’s work “content”
Said it before but the worse things get it bears repeating. You are not a ‘creative’ or a ‘maker.’ You’re an artist, & if you choose to distinguish, a playwright, painter, whatever. These words have a lineage, they mean something. They’re politically important. Take responsibility.

Do you like Jane Austen? Or maybe you're a fan of Susanna Clarke's Piranesi? Are you into surrealist fantasy of manners, infinite houses and god like beings that deal in the arts? Boy, do I have the perfect ttrpg for you, may I present PALLAS!

Life and adulthood in general is more than just replaying current events with everyone we know until we all have a collective panic attack, high blood pressure, and/or hypertension lol. We deserve space to express ourselves beyond world/national news & that doesn't make us "uninformed or complicit"
