They’ll insist this is a
one-off victory — something that can only happen in New York & nowhere else.

They’re wrong.

New York is the world financial capital — home of Wall Street & billionaires from across the globe.

If everyday people can defeat oligarchs here, we can defeat oligarchy anywhere.

I know—with all that’s happening, celebrating a paper may seem small. But this one is different.
It began as a meditation diary, invites us to unlearn.

The US and the World needs senators like Cory Bookers to stand and speak up, also then when the US and its corporate and military machinery is causing havoc to the citizens of the Global South, not only domestically.
I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

To be clear, I am referring here to EU leaders and citizens calls for Europe to rise up as an imperial power, as the US was/is, rather than the obvious need for Europe to stop being the US dependent - something that it should have done already.
The calls for the EU to take on the world's leadership, that we are seeing is troubling in so many ways.

It doesn't only speak of the EU's will to dominate, but also about its deeply rooted colonial minset that the global South is incompetent & require a master, "the Leader of the Free World".

What we are seeing in these latest days of the Western world as we know it, is its full, unbeaten commitment to the ideologies and technologies of domination including colonialism, genocide, plunder, racism, and fascism. (1/2)

Re. the confrontation btw. Zelenskyy & Trump-Vance yesterday. Let's not forget, the US is the most powerful military empire. Spare for the few closest allies (Israel) & few who have managed to avoid its influence & stand on its own legs (China), you either bow down before it or you get beat up (1/2)
