Liaoningosaurus’s teeth were similar to the average Ankylosaur but for one key difference. the gaps between the denticles extend almost all the way to the base of the tooth so they looked something like a comb or a fork with six or seven sharp tines on top of each tooth (see figure a)

Paleo Fun Fact! The smallest member of the Ankylosaur family, the largest specimen found being only 17in long, was likely carnivorous and semi-aquatic! Specimen of Liaoningosaurus have been found with lizards and fish in their stomachs!

Paleo Fun Fact, If you ran into a Titanoboa during its "reign", it might have been a terrifying sight yet you'd have likely been safe, from it at least, as evidence suggest it likely mostly ate fish, have teeth and a pallate similar to that of modern day Caeonphidian's whose primary diet is fish.

Speaking of Cock and Balls, One Allosaurus specimen found in the Morrison Formation, died because it picked a fight with a Stegosaurus and the Stego managed to get a strike in with its Thagomizer, right in the Allos crotch, it didnt die right away either.

Paleo Fun Fact
While movies like Jurassic World absolutely fudged the size of the Mosasaur to make it cooler, Mosasaurs were still absolutely massive and successful marine reptiles. Across all 5 known species the adult was 23 to 36 feet long, weighing as much as 10 tons.

In a less depressy post, i was researching dinosaurs yesterday, cause my inner child deserved to be fed something he loved, and i learnt my one of my favorite dinosaurs, Spinosaurus, is in a highly controversial and messy Super Family, Spinosauridae.

I really thought my relationship with my sister was better than when we were kids, but after the other day, idk, she was real quick to jump on the band wagon when it presented itself. she was quick to hop back into that role, to other me and put me down, belittle my experiences.

There was once a crocodile larger than even the Sarcosuchus and Deinosuchus. The Purussaurus was an early species of Caiman, a true crocodilian. The skull alone was nearly 5ft long, and a body length up to 52ft! They lived in Lake Pebas, a mega lake that is now the Amazon Rainforest
