McNeil's pull% and FB% way up the last 2 seasons, but because he doesn't hit the ball hard and he played at Citi Field (21st overall, 16th for HR for LHB last 3 yrs), his BA dropped and his HR increase was modest.

Multiple sources confirm that the Red Sox are acquiring Willson Contreras from the Cardinals. Like Sonny Gray, Contreras received some financial concessions -- his guarantee increasing from $41.5 million to $42.5 million, with a chance to earn $55 million if a 2028 option is exercised.
