Still haunted by a joyless AI simulation of Alan Watts I heard last week. It was the most poignant example of just how inhuman this tech can be.
For context, Watts was pivotal in introducing the West to eastern philosophy. He was witty and profound, so to hear his voice so badly parroted is just 🤢.
