i think part of my compile-sandbox discipline was borne out of having x86 linux (and windows) workstations, and powerpc macs, back when all my production hosts ran java and perl on UltraSparc cpus. CPU diversity! #netbsd ! get off my lawn!

the last year or so, i've debugged a lot of issues for my developers that involved compilers and other toolchain stuff, because they now have arm64 cpus in their mac dev workstations. ...

i just installed the ios "openvibe" app (on my mac, actually, it runs fine on apple-silicon)
it's connected to my mastodon, bluesky, theads, and nostr identities. I'll try to post using that, so i'll be cross-posted on all those.
