Happy birthday to @patrickbarb.bsky.social. Book mail this weekend kind of makes me feel like it is my birthday, though!

Recently finished Alan Baxter’s Sallow Bend. Really enjoyed it. Especially fun for Halloween, if you’re looking for something to fit the season.
Friends, I got permanently suspended from Twitter for being mean to rich people and the place is dying anyway. I'm trying hard to rebuild something here, because this place is cool. Please help spread the word that I'm around. I write dark books and I think you'll like them. www.alanbaxter.com.au

COVER REVEAL!
THE CREEPENING OF DOGWOOD HOUSE is a MG Southern Gothic based on the hoodoo hair burning, about a boy's adoption by a kind couple with an enormous house haunted by ghosts and something far more frightening.

Almost ready to shut 'er down at the other place. One more social group I enjoy reading posts from and occasionally interacting with needs to start migrating here. Then, I'll be all set.

I love social media. Just saw someone teaching Ramsey Campbell about the history of horror fiction.

We need more artists and fewer politicians.

I like Bluesky well enough so far. I’m getting genuine joy out of seeing folks connect with their Twitter mutuals. Only things is: not sure I’m going to be slaying it here like I was with all the crypto opportunities I’m leaving back there.

Hello, Bluesky! I guess I’m here from now on.
