Ahh a hand-me-down Nobel Peace Price is so on brand for Trump! Tackiness all the way.
I thought Trump would never get the Nobel Peace Prize. He's about to prove me wrong!

Listening to members of our community must be a priority. Showing up for members of our community must be a priority.

Great neighbors, like Michael and Edward, are part of why I’m proud to call this city my home. We will fight, not fold - for ALL New Yorkers.

Jeffries is an AIPAC funded puppet for millionaires. He could barely get himself to endorse @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social even AFTER he won the primary but has no problems endorsing now

Someone needs to do to @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social what @aoc.bsky.social did to Joe Crowley and send him packing!

Highlights of 2025

Rang in January 2025 at Santa Fe, NM. Such a beautiful state with delicious food and the most wonderful people. New Mexico is an underrated state. Its the 5th largest state by area and it's population is less than that of Queens, NY

If you are a foreign president who commits crimes overseas, America will come get you, arrest you, and lock you up.

But if you are a US president who commits crimes here in the United States, America will give you immunity from prosecution, reelect you, and bribe you with billions of dollars.

Lunch and dinner today was mostly cooked by me, including the rotis. Both were delicious and we definitely over-ate 😋

So US Courts can hold foreign leaders accountable but can't hold its own president and cabinet accountable for their crimes??
So we’re just announcing foreign strikes and kidnappings of foreign leaders on social media now? No Congress. No explanation.

This is madness.

You have to go through Congress for anything resembling this type of war. Round up Massie and Paul types and have him removed. The people in this administration are on actual drugs and have insatiable bloodlust and bespoke mental illnesses. He has to go, and everybody with him.

Just woke up to find out that POTUS started an illegal war with Venezuela. The congress needs to wake up and stop this president. Power to start war with another country is with congress, not the president.

Yesterday @gauravsabnis.bsky.social & I attended the historic inauguration of @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social. It truly was a once in a generation event. A brown, Muslim immigrant took on a 3 term governor who is the son of 3 term governor, the entire democratic party, the establishment, POTUS, and won!

One of the best moments from @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social inauguration yesterday was when the crowd started chanting Tax the Rich

These millionaires became rich leeching off the government while paying little to nothing in taxes & contributing zilch to society. It's high time they pay their dues.

Love it!!
Mayor Mamdani has issued an executive order revoking all EOs Eric Adams signed after Sept. 26, 2024, the date of his indictment.

At a presser, Mamdani says EOs Adams issued after that date were "against the interests of working class people," but doesn't offer examples.

Yesterday @gauravsabnis.bsky.social and I watched It Happened on 5th Avenue and it's such a perfect christmas movie. I hadn't even heard of that movie until Gaurav suggested it. It's a perfect blend of comedy, heart warming, Christmas movie that's still relevant today with the housing crisis.

It's one of those rare day when I'm in the mood to cook so this is everything I've cooked so far (pic)

I'm also making Kashmir Rogan Josh chicken curry and I've marinated chicken tandoori for tomorrow 😁

So the president thinks that being able to pick out a giraffe is not easy. And congress is just gonna pretend like that's totally fine. We've entered the dark ages for sure.

Makes me wonder if @kaine.senate.gov is in these Epstein files. Anytime anyone drags their feet on releasing these files, the odds are they're probably in these files. Is that why you want to look at other options with appropriations bills and such crap 🤔
WELKER: Massie and Khanna say they are looking at options including impeachment and contempt for DOJ officials. Would you support those steps?

KAINE: I think that's premature

Aww this is so sweet. I have to say @gauravsabnis.bsky.social food posts are amazing and the sheer joy he feels really does shine through. Even I've been inspired to cook more and experiment in the kitchen ❤️❤️❤️

Last night we finally ate at Semma and the food was absolutely worth it!! Scallops, rabbit leg, chicken, tiger prawns, dosa, branzino and the cocktails were all delicious. I highly recommend Semma if you like seafood and Indian food. I would love to go back and try their dungesess crab and lobster.

With federal cuts to health care funding, NY hospitals are at risk of closure. NYers deserve a voice. Local Input for Community Healthcare (LICH) bill would require community concerns be heard & addressed by state officials before hospitals or units close.
@governor.ny.gov – sign the LICH bill now!

There's no down side to congestion pricing. We should build on this and increase the rate as necessary to keep this going.
Particulate pollution in the air down a whopping 22% in NYC’s congestion pricing zone.

Not only are the streets less congested, but so are our lungs.

With Harvey Epstein being sworn in as NYC city council member, his assembly seat is now vacant. About 200 or so county committee members of the 74th Assembly District will be voting today for the next democratic nominee for the special election.
