my father-in-law is a “I know a guy” Guy. sadly all the old Guys are aging out of the Guy Economy. Guys are fundamentally incompatible with Hustle Culture because it’s not about “winning” a deal, it’s about collecting favors and goodwill in a mutually-beneficial cycle. protect your local Guy Economy

There are places with which we can build relationships upon only a single visit. People with whom the ties that bind still thrive despite the better - though less good for the absences - part of a lifetime apart.

Boost public service accounts when they arrive here, so they can build high enough follower counts to make it worth their time. Engagement on X is often a mirage, but if it appears higher it makes it harder for them to justify the transition.
