This is tied with Go Wild as one of my favorite Rugrats movies, but Go Wild beats it out just slightly. However, this is one of the more iconic bits of this franchise, even if I came around to the first movie (all of them are good in their own right).

On this day in 2000, Chuckie finally found his mom who will last forever.

Happy 25th anniversary to my second favorite movie based on a Nickelodeon show (behind only a tie between the first two SpongeBob movies), Rugrats in Paris.

This movie encapsulates everything that makes Rugrats so great. If you haven’t watched Rugrats in a long time, or haven’t watched the show at all, you owe yourself to watch at least some of it to know why this show once ruled the world.

They were not being subtle at all. I don't know what I was expecting.
First look at Ice Spice in ‘THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SEARCH FOR SQUAREPANTS’

In theaters on December 19.

Well, I thought the former would've lasted a bit longer, but nope. Dead in a ditch. Poor Tales of the TMNT though. It looked interesting, especially with the 2D art style.

Fuck you Skydance and all that you stand for. Shame on you and your entire family!

Paramount, give up. WBD isn't interested in being your date to the prom. Stop it, you're embarrassing yourself.
Paramount Skydance pwomises that **IF** Warner Bros. Discovery and them merge, they will keep the creative teams at both Paramount Pictures and WB Pictures intact, while streamlining marketing and distribution. HBO Max and Paramount+ would also merge. finance.yahoo.com/news/paramou...

I really need to watch this show. I haven't watched much of the latest stuff from SpongeBob, but I can't help but laugh and be amazed by some of the stuff they've done. It honestly looks really fun.
This clip I encountered after posting this is a perfect example of what I mean, actually.

The sudden, overdramatic mood shifts... The extended focus on such a specific, seemingly pointless subject... The stupidly repetitive, simplistic lyrics... The constant PAIN on display... It all just CLICKS.

I've been on an insane streak lately. After years of owning these two games, I have 100% completed the original Battle for Bikini Bottom (I also did it for Rehydrated much earlier) and The SpongeBob Movie Game. What a ride, it was fun to go for everything, but I don't think I'll do it again.

Well, this is sure a timeline... Disney killed Alex Russo...
Alex Russo is now dead in the ‘WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE’ universe.

She sacrificed herself in the sequel series’ Season 2 finale.

"See the adventures of Timmy Turner... Cosmo & Wanda in Fairly OddParents, now available on DVD and home video!"

I had to, it's one the staples of Nickelodeon home media promos in the mid 2000s. That and the assload of SpongeBob DVDs.
"Are you ready for...La Cucaracha?"

Wow, they actually finally revealed something new from the game. After watching the trailer... Holy shit, what did I just watch? Insanity is the current word.

If I pick this up next year, here's hoping I can get some extra storage...

Earlier today, 90s Kids 2 aired the Rugrats All Growed Up special, but as an episode of All Grown Up. Something Nickelodeon has done since 2004 if I'm not mistaken. It used the AGU intro, while omitting the title card. Other than that, it's the same episode from start to finish.

You've got to be kidding me. Seriously Paramount, I don't think it'll kill you to release 13 episodes of a show that's wrapped production now. Give us a DVD release you cowards.
Just received this email from Allied Media (the company that released Rugrats 2021 Season 2 on DVD) about Rugrats Season 3’s release date.

I can’t say I’m too happy about it. A whole season has just been completed and ready to go. But it’s in limbo mode, collecting dust.

On another edition of "What the fuck is happening with Rugrats 2021?" the US copyright office has logged something from the show dated 8/26. What does this mean? Clearly something since production wrapped months ago. (Credit to @noizybunny.bsky.social for the tip).

Also known as "Movies that killed Ice Princess in March 2005".

This came out 2 weeks before that movie and it's also a Disney movie btw... Make of that what you will.

So they're mostly dead... There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead.

If anyone gets the reference, good job.
We finally got an official update from Corus themselves: Nelvana has become an “in-name only” unit of their company akin to what Warner Bros. did to Hanna-Barbera in 2001. www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/televis...

The hell? They just fucking vanished with no fanfare. That's just sad, man. Corus just out here shuttering everything. RIP Nelvana, thanks for giving us some good memories in the US and beyond.
Not officially confirmed but Nelvana, one of Canada's most storied animation studios, appears to have quietly closed down on Friday, yet another casualty of Corus Entertainment's struggle to survive.

Good show so far, been making my way through the show, although I've currently stopped at the second half of S2 for now. Hoping to get back to it soon.
27 years ago today, ‘The Wild Thornberrys’ premiered on Nickelodeon.

They've all been found dead in a ditch.
Nickelodeon, Disney XD, and Disney Junior - and technically also Freeform via ABC Spark - are no more in Canada.

They all displayed this screen for four minutes beginning at midnight before cutting to a cable provider-specific “This channel is no longer available” screen.

I see Nick Pluto TV is airing a perfectly normal out-of-context SpongeBob clip that I'm sure a beloved present-day YouTube reviewer of that show hasn't turned into a running gag right now.

@thqnordic.com Since the new SpongeBob game is on the horizon, I want to once again request the remastering/porting of the Nicktoons Unite games. Like de Blob, something to play these games on modern consoles. I'd love that very much please.
