My column this week. Alabamians often dismiss the bile that comes out of some of our leaders' mouths as performative, or grimly funny. Don't do that with Tommy Tuberville's recent threats against Muslims. He's already signaled that he views many Alabamians as dangers, simply for who they are.

Got to thinking about how before 1819 ‘News’ invited Tucker Carlson in as their 2nd Annual Patterson Dinner speaker, their first was none other than Eric Metaxas. He’s well worth Googling if you’re unfamiliar. My guess is more grifter than true believer. How he’s 👍🏼 on Sidney Powell as AG is 😫😵💫🤢.
