Finally got to reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. From what they discussed in the Hall H panel at SDCC, the film looks incredible. First time reading Weir and he makes the science very approachable

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Rewatched Sinners today, and I’m sorry but if you don’t think this movie deserves the accolades it’s gotten I’m gonna look at you funny.
Driving up and down California within the past 24 hours really made me appreciate the beauty of this state. Such a diverse landscape and the rain in the beginning of the month helped with seeing all the lush green hills
